古希腊人的生活观及消费理念-《南京师大学报（社会科学版）》

摘要:: 物质生产的发展导致现代人贪欲激增,消费异化,日益远离原始的古朴生活。而古希腊人的自然本真的生活态度,对真、善、美的希求,对公正、平等、爱心、至善和高尚等美德的塑造,对朴实无奢、素朴节俭的消费理念的弘扬以及对宁静淡泊、高贵典雅的生命追求,无疑都给当代人的豪奢腐化、虚荣浮躁上了很好一课。希望当下人能够用理智抑制欲望,用道德人格和自律行为抵制物质至上和享乐主义,做到不随物迁,悉心修持,清心寡欲,丰神秀逸; 促动人类进入博爱宽厚、积德行善、清明圆善和无我无物之生活常态。

Abstract:: The development of the material production leads to an explosion of greed, an alienation of consumption and a continuous departure from the traditional simple way of life among contemporary people. However, they can learn a good lesson from the ancient Greeks’ natural and sincere attitude to life; their complete desires for truth, kindness and beauty; their cultivation of the sense of justice, good and sublime virtue; their promotion of the consumption idea characterized by simplicity and frugality; and their pursuit of a serene, simple, elegant and noble life. It is advisable for people today to put their desires under the control of reason and to resist materialism and hedonism through appealing to their sense of morality and self-discipline. In so doing, they can live a simple life free from too many earthly cares.
