Abstract:: The theoretical tools in the theoretical system of international relations can help us better analyze the development trend of the global maritime order from different angles, and provide new options for China to better formulate maritime strategies that conform to the objective reality and its own interests. In the context of the return of contemporary international relations to the logic of realism, competition, compromise and cooperation among maritime powers will become one of the new themes, and the reshaping of the global maritime order will be inevitable. In order to adapt to the new changes in the balance of power between major countries and the resulting evolution of the strategic pattern, China must make new efforts to handle the corresponding issues such as the building of maritime power, in order to achieve the basic goal of smoothly promoting the improvement of the global maritime order.
