- Abstract:
- In her early years, Professor Zhu Xiaoman proposed a three-dimensional framework of philosophy, science, and engineering for the construction of theoretical moral education, which also predicted her academic exploration of moral education. She studied morality from the perspective of human mind, and formed a Marxist monist view on moral education based on human intrinsic nature. On the basis of her in-depth study of moral emotion, she demonstrated how affective moral education can use emotional mechanism to develop students' moral emotions. By integrating human emotions into the curriculum, teaching materials, and teaching process, her research results became the power to change the reality of moral education. Despite her short academic career, with her extraordinary efforts and talents, Professor Zhu eventually developed a distinctive theory of affective moral education, making an important contribution to the theory and practice of moral education in China.
