- The Report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)has provided strong support for building a strong educational China in the following three aspects: the strong political leadership by the CPC and Chinese government; the unprecedented developmental opportunity for education in the process of building a modern socialist country; and the enough economic capacity to supply for the high-quality development of education. This is the unique advantage China has to build a strong country in education. In practice, the approach to building a strong country in education lies in our continuous promotion of educational reform with the spirit of “self-revolution” by breaking through the constraints in the systems and mechanisms which restrict educational development and by stimulating people's willingness and creativity to promote educational reform and development.
