- Abstract:
- The women’s liberation theory of Mrs. Kollontai, a female revolutionist in the Russian andSoviet Era, together with the Chinese translation of her novels, set off a great wave of translation and readingin China in the post-May 4th era. The“ new morality” advocated in her theory and creations promoted thewomen’s liberation movement beginning in modern times to its climax. The narrative mode of“ revolution pluslove” constructed by Mrs. Kollontai in her theory and novel writings initiated the creation of“ RevolutionaryRomanticism” in Chinese modern left-wing literature. However, the modern Chinese left-wing romanticcreation was not a simple copy of Mrs. Kollontai’s works. In the process of conceiving stories and presentingvalues, it was naturally influenced by the specific context of Chinese revolution and traditional ethical culture:due to its own innovations, Chinese left-wing romantic literary creation is more complex and more colorful thanthat of Mrs. Kollontai.
