摘要:: 自2007 年以来，中国新闻史学界的民国新闻史研究有了迅速发展。本文在对“民国新闻史”的研究对象、目标、功能和态度进行初步探索和思考后，提出了民国新闻史的研究对象是民国时期新闻事业构成要素及其发展变化规律，并可从宏观、中观和微观等不同层面加以认识，民国新闻史的研究目标是再现历史和探寻规律，民国新闻史研究的主要社会功能是评价历史和借鉴当下，以及民国新闻史研究的基本态度应是历史和辩证的态度等观点。

Abstract:: Since 2007，rapid progress has been made in the research on the journalistic history in the period ofRepublic of China. After exploring the research object，purpose，function of and the attitude to the journalistichistory in that period，we argue that the research object is the elements of journalism and the regularity intheir changes and developments，which can be recognized respectively from macroscopic，intermediate，andmicroscopic levels. Its research purpose is to represent the history and explore the regularity. The main socialfunction of the studies on the then journalistic history is not only to understand and evaluate history properly butalso to draw from it some practical significance for the present. And the basic stance we should adopt to viewthis history should be guided by historical dialectics.
