《四库全书》的编纂、《四库总目》的著评都与吴地《诗经》学者存在密切关联。民间进献之《诗》学图书多有出于吴地藏书家者。清廷关注吴地文化与学术，斟酌收录当下吴地学者的《诗》学著作，内中隐含有政治考量，顾栋高、李光地与杨名时学派皆受到特殊的青睐。

The compilation of Siku Quanshu《四库全书》(Complete Library in Four Sections)and the creation and evaluation of Siku Zongmu《四库总目》(General Catalog of the Complete Library in Four Sections)are closely related to the scholarship of Shijing《诗经》(Book of Songs)in the Wu region. Many of the privately contributed books on the study of Shijing were mostly collected by the scholars from this region. The Qing court paid attention to Wu culture and scholarship, and carefully collected and included the works on Shijing by the scholars from the Wu region at that time. Schools of the scholarship in this regard represented by Gu Donggao, Li Guangdi, and Yang Mingshi all received special favor due to the Qing authorities' hidden political considerations.
