- Inspiring the cultural creativity of the entire Chinese nation and developing a great socialist culture in China is an important task for high-quality development in the new era. Ideological construction is the work to build and strengthen the “heart” and “soul” for China and the Chinese nation. Developing a strong socialist culture must adhere to the correct value orientation and unique ideological logic. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to hold the ideological principles of developing a great socialist culture: that is, to adhere to the correct direction, sticking to the Marxist position and the principle of people's supremacy; to enhance the ideological consciousness of developing a great socialist culture: that is, to strengthen cultural confidence and consolidate the cultural genes of the mainstream ideology; to strengthen the ideological foundation of developing a great socialist culture: that is, to build a strong national spiritual support, inheriting and carrying forward the fine traditional Chinese culture; to show the ideological “pulse” of developing a great socialist culture: that is, to promote the development and prosperity of literature and art, and carry out literary and artistic creation in line with the times; to open up the field of ideological support for developing a great socialist culture: that is, to enhance the innovation ability and stimulate cultural creativity; and to demonstrate the external concept of developing a great socialist culture: that is, to establish an international vision and focus on the exchanges and mutual learning among different civilizations. It is also necessary to enhance historical awareness, strengthen cultural confidence, and continue to expand the influence and appeal of the socialist culture and values with Chinese characteristics.
