Abstract:: In the era of the Internet，a big issue facing governments at different levels is how to makegovernmental decision based on big data analysis and to improve their governance and social services. A newmode of intelligent governmental decision based on the analysis of big data is a type of decision involvingsuch factors as the operation of the governmental websites and the channels through which netizens maketheir concerns known；the evaluation of the performance of the government；the identification of the needsof the netizens；the analysis of the characteristics of the interaction between governmental organs and thenetizens through the Internet；the imbalance between the supply and the demand of the information；and theoptimization of the online services provided by the government. Such a new mode of governmental decisionhas been applied in the information services offered by some local governments during their response toemergencies and achieved good results.
