- The contemporary economic growth is based on and driven by the following three factors：natural resources，industrialization and capital. Such mode of growth is the direct cause for today’s crisis ofhuman existence. The traditional economic ethics focused on the ethical relationship between human beings ineconomic activities，trying to explore the law of justice governing the production，exchange and consumptionwhile ignoring the ethical relationship between man and nature. Considering the crisis of human existence，this cannot meet the objectives of the sustainability and development of human existence. Therefore，thecontemporary economic ethics has to take the rule of sustainability as the supreme law governing the economicactivities.
