Abstract:
From the perspective of the distinctive characteristics and essential requirements of Chinese path to modernization, there is an inseparable internal logic between standardizing the wealth accumulation mechanism and realizing Chinese-style modernization. Standardization of wealth accumulation mechanism is not only a choice to learn from the wealth accumulation lessons of modern western countries, but also a practical requirement to fully highlight the characteristics and essence of Chinese path to modernization. The current wealth accumulation mechanism in China is not sound enough with problems including market order and behavioral irregularities, insufficient stability in wealth accumulation, lack of fairness in wealth distribution, incorrect wealth views held by some people, imbalance between economic and ecological wealth, and external security risks in wealth accumulation. Therefore, we should strive to standardize the market order for wealth creation and acquisition, optimize the capital market and housing market system, enhance the fairness of the wealth distribution system, practice the wealth concept of socialism with Chinese characteristics, promote the coordination of economic wealth and ecological wealth, enhance the security and sharing of wealth in expanding the opening-up. Through such measures, the wealth accumulation mechanism will better serve the practice of Chinese-style modernization and the construction of a modern socialist country.
