Abstract:
In the complete and harmonious social support system of educational reform and development, social mentality support is indispensable. To promote educational fairness in the new era, it is necessary to construct positive social mentality support for education fairness. It means that the general public can uphold the values of scientific rationality with positive and peaceful emotions, and be full of trust and confidence in the implementation and quality improvement of educational fairness policies, in terms of cognition, emotions, and behavioral intentions towards educational fairness. Currently, constructing a positive mindset towards educational equity is an important and urgent task. It requires guiding public opinion in the right direction, empowering public participation, and respecting diverse choices. By doing so, we can consolidate a correct and shared value consensus among the general public regarding education and the issue of educational equity. This will enhance social trust in the fair development of the national education system, contributing to the reconstruction of a favorable mindset.
