Abstract:
The Communist Manifesto adheres to the historical materialist standpoint. In its profound criticism of the capitalist mode of production, it reveals the objective requirements for the proletariat to unite in the revolution and the scientific truth that mankind is moving towards “the community of free individuals” to achieve liberation. The development from the union of proletarians into the union of the free individuals is an important logical thread running through the manifesto. The union of proletarian forces is an inevitable result of the development of large-scale industry and an objective requirement for the proletariat to launch revolutionary struggles. The proletariat’s own political party is the organization and core force to realize the union of the proletarians and even various political forces. Only through extensive struggles and alliances can the proletariat continue to strengthen the revolutionary forces, and finally achieve the aspiration of “the proletarians of the world, unite”, and realize the complete liberation of themselves and the entire mankind as well.
