Abstract:
Teacher competency is the core factor promoting university’s innovation and entrepreneurship education. On the basis of reviewing the previous related studies, our research group constructed the indicator system for assessing the competency possessed by the innovation and entrepreneurship teachers in colleges and universities. Teacher competency is composed of four secondary indicators:teaching ability, entrepreneurial ability, practical ability and self-development ability. These indicators are further broken down into 39 level 3 indicators. This study also designed 4 dependent variables and made a logistics model analysis among the 39 level 3 indicators with regard to the 4 dependent variables. On this basis, this paper proposes some suggestions on improving innovation and entrepreneurship educator’s competency and promoting the quality of innovation and entrepreneurship education.
