Abstract:: The narratives in the ci poems of the Song Dynasty are well structured in that they weave variouskinds of materials into a coherent text in a unique way and present various narrative models，highlighting thefeelings of their authors. Starting from the chronological order of the narration，we identify the following threetypes of narration out of the ci poems produced in that period：the single-line structure，the double-line structureand the spirally progressive structure. Then we analyze the characteristics of each structural model in order toshow the evolution of the textual structure of the ci poems and further reveal the key influence and importantvalue of the structural elements on the narratives in the ci poems of the Song Dynasty.
