Abstract:
It is of great significance to introduce the research method from sociology into the theoreticalexploration of family education practice. Among the different sociological theories and methods,Bourdieu’sfield theory is essentially important,for it can help us identify the limitations in the current research on familyeducation which has long focused on the“ primary relationships” in this area. From the sociological perspectiveoffered by the field theory,we should base our work on the“ secondary relationships” in family education,investigate the position,capital and habitus involved in family education,paint a clear picture of how the fieldof family education has come into being,and explore the possibility of improving the effectiveness of familyeducation on the basis of field theory. All these efforts can help us reflect on the goal of family education,guideits practice,and enable an all-round development of human beings.
