- In the 1930s and 1940s，the Chinese higher journalism education，represented by YenchingUniversity，Fudan University and Central Political School，created a variety of successful education patterns inaccordance with their own reality and the needs of the time，society and state. These patterns were established onthe basis of imitating those of the Western universities，especially the pattern of the Missouri State University.Taking as examples the education patterns of these three intuitions of higher education in that period，this paperis intended to explore what we can learn from the then different ways of doing journalism education throughcomparing their education purposes，objectives，curricula，faculty selections，and achievements.
