Abstract:: Russian literature is not only an important part of Russian modernization，but also witnesses andparticipates in the process in its unique way. Literature cannot avoid a series of fundamental problems emergingin the process of modernization，such as the choice of the road between the East and the West，intellectuals’value identification and the role they have played，and the sense of crisis and the local complex associatedwith the way and the consequences of modernization.
