Abstract:: Cultural boundary and boundary awareness are important symbols to distinguish and definedifferent cultural forms. Once set up，the cultural boundary will acquire some defensive and cohesive capacity，thus offering resistance to other kinds of awareness of cultural boundaries. The dissemination and practice ofscientific socialism helps the proletarian and socialist culture define its own borders，which is of paramountimportance to the formation of the cultural and value consciousness of socialism with Chinese characteristics.In the current process of cultural construction，the effective protection of the boundary between Marxist cultureand other cultures depends heavily on whether we can correctly handle the relationships between the protectionof cultural boundary and the social development，the development of science and technology as well as thepromotion of cultural exchanges.
