Abstract:
China and Korean Peninsula belong to the same Chinese-character Cultural Circle, characterized by the similar cultural accumulation and literary forms. The distinctive diplomacy through the creation and criticism of poems between the Ming Dynasty and Korea provided a solid foundation for Korea’s literary exchange with China. The Korean envoys to the Ming Dynasty were talented in Chinese culture, so they had the ability to exchange their works and views on poetry with the Ming emperors, ministers, and even ordinary scholars. The bilateral literary exchange enhanced friendship between the two countries and even helped solve some political problems.
