Abstract:
Korea and China are closely related to each other geographically and culturally. Chinese culture has profound influence on Korea, and this is well reflected in ancient Korean literary creation. In Korean literature, there are a lot of novels drawing materials from dreams or based on dreams, of which Mongcha Group is the most representative one. This sort of novels is heavily influenced by Chinese culture in ideology, institution, history and geography. From these novels, we can see how Chinese culture was accepted by Korean people and understand their unique aesthetic psychology and characteristics. It is of great academic value for us to understand the cultural characteristics of Korea peninsula literature, its social ideal and aesthetic consciousness.
