Abstract:
What the high-quality development of education needs is the high-quality development of education as it is. A “de-educationalized” high-quality development is mainly manifested in the fact that the internal value of education is overwhelmed by its external functions, in the competition caused by the worship of performance, and in the decline of educational spirit. The so-called high-quality development of education must adhere to the priority of education proper in development logic and development value, and systematically consider the internal norms of education, subject satisfaction, and the characteristics of true education. High-quality development of education requires: a correct understanding of the purpose of high-quality development of education; adherence to the original intention and bottom line of education; and giving the freedom and dignity back to education and research; and dialectically handling the various complex relationships facing education development. The high-quality development of education is expected to return to the true nature of education.
