- Abstract:
- In the process of their professional development, school teachers should become the agent, the leader, a wise person and be themselves(i.e. form their individual style). The general guiding principle behind teacher’s professional development policy should be to help teachers become the master of their own professional development. Only in this way can teacher’s professional development be transformed into a self-conscious, self-reliant, self-arousing and self-liberating process. In the final analysis, the teacher’s professional self-development should become a kind of emancipatory development.
