- Abstract:
- Over the 40 years since the reform and opening up, China has established a number of appliedundergraduate universities, whose development can be roughly divided into four stages: embryonic form, modeexploration, scale expansion and transformation. Their development is characterized by“ following a practicedrivenpath” ,“ adopting a bottom-up mode” and“ being diversified in the form” . In the new era, we shouldestablish the“ social prestige” of the applied undergraduate universities according to law, explore the newmodel of development for such universities and construct the“ four-sphere integrated” pattern of developmentcharacterized by the integration between industry and education, and enhance the quality and promote theinnovation of the applied undergraduate university.
