Abstract:
Based on an epistemological motive,Husserl divided his theory of constitution of three-dimensionalspace into two levels:the constitution of two-dimensional field and three-dimensional space. Both, accordingto a further inquiry, depend fundamentally on kinesthesia,a constitutional function of bodily movement ofpractical subject. Thus the theory of three-dimensional space goes beyond the framework of epistemology;differing from the closed three-dimensional space, practice space is an open horizon in which people livepractically, and thus has an essential structure of closeness-distance. Practice space can be proved ultimatelyto be life-world which,as a universal horizon, contains an invariant style of a divorce from hometown andalien land( Heimat und Fremde) . It is with the aid of the concept of practice that a thorough elucidation ofthe constitution of space and a reasonable explanation of the idea of transcendental phenomenology can beachieved.
