Title:: Three-Dimensional Space and Practical Space：On Husserl’sConcept of Practice

Abstract:: Based on an epistemological motive，Husserl divided his theory of constitution of three-dimensionalspace into two levels：the constitution of two-dimensional field and three-dimensional space. Both，accordingto a further inquiry，depend fundamentally on kinesthesia，a constitutional function of bodily movement ofpractical subject. Thus the theory of three-dimensional space goes beyond the framework of epistemology；differing from the closed three-dimensional space，practice space is an open horizon in which people livepractically，and thus has an essential structure of closeness-distance. Practice space can be proved ultimatelyto be life-world which，as a universal horizon，contains an invariant style of a divorce from hometown andalien land（ Heimat und Fremde） . It is with the aid of the concept of practice that a thorough elucidation ofthe constitution of space and a reasonable explanation of the idea of transcendental phenomenology can beachieved.
