- Abstract:
- The modernization of state governance can reinforce the innovation in the governance idea ofthe Communist Party of China（ CPC） or vice versa. The success in such modernization needs to be basedon the historical progress and China’s reality and be guided by the basic principles of socialism with Chinesecharacteristics. The systematic innovation in the governance idea of the CPC relies on the innovations in thefollowing aspects：consolidating its governance legitimacy by integrating its nature as a party of proletariatclass with its property as a party seeking for the benefits of the whole society；enhancing its governance effectby turning its organizational regime for a political party into the institution for the effective governance of awhole country；and optimizing its functions by reforming the distribution of resources.
