Abstract:
Cyberbullying is a serious offence that happens among teenagers using electronic devicesconnected to the internet. The number of teenager internet users in China is huge, to whom cyberbullyingcould cause serious and persistent harm. Therefore, it is urgent to pay due attention to this type of bullying.In the current research of cyberbullying, certain confusion about the concepts of cyberbullying and cyberviolence exists, and thus a distinction between them is necessary. The big data technology makes it possibleto obtain key information of bullying behaviors in electronic communication, which can provide data sourcefor the prediction and prevention of cyberbullying. To accomplish this, the issues of privacy protection andinformation surveillance should be taken into consideration. Therefore, the language policy plays a crucial partin the process of ensuring the internet language security for teenagers.
