Abstract:
The thought of the “Four Comprehensives” contains the three logics concerning the history, reality and future of China respectively. The historical logic in the “Four Comprehensives” lies in the fact that the strategic blueprint continues to respond to such key issues as: What is socialism and how should we construct it? What kind of party should we build and how should we build it? What type of development should we aim at and how should we achieve it? The reality logic in this strategic blueprint, deriving from China’s current needs for development and the great expectations of Chinese people, is embodied in its aim to help solve the prominent issues we are now facing. The future logic in the great strategy consists of its aim to grasp China’s future development on the basis of a correct understanding of the basic law of social development: to align China’s development with the development of the times. The reality logic is based on the historical one: the profound historical tradition of the socialism with Chinese characteristics and its consistent theoretical development enable us to confidently meet various challenges and problems in practice. The future logic, which is also based on the historical one, starts from the reality logic.
