- Through analyzing Albert Michotte’s experimental phenomenology method, we summed up its basic characteristics as follows: firstly, it focuses on phenomenal experience by separating physical world from phenomenal world; secondly, it adopts a descriptive approach to reveal the structure of experience; lastly, it acquires such structure by demonstrating different dimensions of phenomena. Michotte ingeniously combined phenomenology with experimental research, guaranteeing that phenomenological research is feasible and rigorous. Such combination is of great practical significance for present-day human science psychology and psychology in general.
