- Abstract:
- Epitomizing traditional Chinese interpretation of law, Tanglü Shuyi was characterized by among others “one explanation per regulation”, “integration of articles and notes” and dependence of the textual structure. These characteristics have offered important experience for the development of traditional Chinese interpretation of law. Contemporary Chinese interpretation of law should adopt the textual style of Tanglü Shuyi as a reference so as to improve the legal interpretation of contemporary China and to realize the textual unity of China’s contemporary legal interpretations.
