- Abstract:
- The existential vacuum refers to a mental problem faced by people who have difficulty in recognizing the meaning and value of life. It is important to find the cause for and the solution to this problem. We argue that this problem is caused by the degeneration of the various relationships involving man. Employing theories of Confucianism and Existentialism, we examined the relationships between man and man, man and destiny, man and occasion. This examination of the nature of relationships is intended to inspire us to think about the meaning and value of life.
