摘要:
对“什么是真正的教育”的追问引向对教育的内在尺度的深入思考。这既需要诉诸于教育者对自身教育体验的内在反省,更需要借助于经典的教育理论智慧。从古典文明时代教育作为一种启发的智慧,到启蒙时代教育作为理性精神的培植之途,再到现代教育学知识体系中对经验的关注,以及在20 世纪对于“面向人的精神领域的教育”的反思,都引向对教育之内涵的深度理解。对教育的内在尺度的探讨区别于从实现外在的目的或功能看教育,而是基于对人之成长发展的关注,即关注教育如何改进学生的经验品质并促进内在精神的觉醒。
Abstract:
Through asking“ what is genuine education”,we may think deeply about the internal dimensionof education. This can be informed by classical educational theories as well as by the reflection on one’s owneducational experience. From education as an art of inspiration in the age of classical civilization,to educationas an approach to cultivating rational spirit in the age of the Enlightenment,to the emphasis of experience inmodern pedagogical knowledge systems,and to the reflection on the issue of“ education toward the spiritualworld” in the 20th century,the meaning of education has been profoundly elaborated. Different from takingeducation as a means of realizing some external aim or function,the discussion on the internal dimension ofeducation pays attention to the growth and development of the students,that is,to pay attention to how toimprove the quality of experience and to promote the awakening of the inner spirit for the students.
