正如拓扑学是最基本的几何学,狂草图象乃汉字图象最根本的几何学。书法是超越文字的图象创造。狂草图象最具超越图象的极端抽象性,具有身体性和事件性,因此也具有表演性。这种表演与深刻的图象直觉相关,指向汉字图象的极端形态,改变汉字图象的结构,以及字与字之间的结构关系,显示出以自由创意改变汉字图象秩序的艺术力量。狂草图象的时间结构渗入空间结构中,成为相对论时空的四维结构。追求极限的精神,与汉字图象的限制,造成狂草图象的拓扑艺术。狂草图象可以拓扑学的数学本义进行分析,从中可见狂草的连通性与紧致性如何形变汉字图象。狂草图象以汉字图象的非语义性,借助通感、灵感将图象转变为音乐。狂草的音乐性特质体现在以书写的整体图象企求艺术上的超验之境。
Abstract:
Just as topology works as the essence of geometry, the images of wild cursive script work as the essence of Hanzi 汉字(Chinese character)images. Chinese calligraphy is extra-linguistic. The form or image of Hanzi itself contains hypertextual features, while its calligraphic images go beyond its basic image, entering the world of art. Wild cursive script images, furthermore, boast an extreme abstractness that surpasses images in the wildest way. Such an abstractness possesses both a physical side and an eventful potential, and is thus endowed with great possibility of expression. That expression, empowered by a profound graphic intuition, points to some extreme presentation of Hanzi images, changing the structure of Hanzi images and the relationship between words, showing an artistic force that overturns the rule governing Hanzi images by means of free creation. The time structure of wild cursive script images, merging into the space structure, forms a 4D structure in the sense of the relativity theory. The pursuit for extremes and the limit of Hanzi images mutually lead wild cursive script images to a topological art. We can analyze those images with the mathematical thinking of topology, which will reveal the way the wild cursive script, with its smoothness and tension, changes the shapes of Hanzi images. Wild cursive script images, on the basis of the non-semantic characteristics of Hanzi images, change images into music by means of synesthesia and inspiration. The musical feature of the wild cursive script can be seen in the craving for a transcendental experience with the integral process of writing Hanzi.
